Mission Training: World Focus

The biblical mandate to 'go into all the world and preach the Gospel' is taken seriously at Redcliffe. Since the college's beginnings over a century ago, Redcliffe students have trained for cross-cultural world mission, and today, many of our former students are actively involved in world mission - in over 95 countries around the globe.

Redcliffe's approach however, does not stop with providing effective cross-cultural mission training. For many years, the college has actively developed world-wide partnerships relating to each of the major continents or region blocks. Our partners in mission include national theological colleges and organisations, and mission agencies working in specific areas. And, as we recognise the constant interconnections that take place in a globalised community, our vision also takes into account the significant number of people living and working outside their own country.

Just being at Redcliffe may be the first step in your cross-cultural experience, as you study alongside people from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds. Our faculty have first-hand experience of world mission - having been actively involved in mission themselves in many places and situations around the world. Our practical mission placements programme will also allow you to taste 'world mission' and explore working in different contexts, both in the UK and globally.
