Prayer Times

Prayer Times

Prayer is central to our relationship with God and we believe that prayer changes lives and nations.  At Redcliffe, students have the opportunity to pray with people from other countries, who bring fresh perspectives to issues.  For example, world events come into sharper focus when someone from the country you are praying about is sitting next to you!  On specific mornings, prayer groups are held for different countries, for college life and sometimes for specific situations.

Community prayer forms part of the weekly fellowship times and often focuses on different areas of the world and former students.  Additional 'Prayer Days' held during the year give students creative opportunities to pray with other students or on your own for a particular area of the world or concern.  A dedicated prayer room in the accommodation wing also provides students with a 24-7 quiet place to pray.

"A small group of us met every Tuesday morning to pray for Europe, and this time was very precious to me.  It was a time when we shared what we knew or had found out about other European countries and prayed into their situations.  It was an amazing half hour, knowing with certainty that our prayers were listened to and we could play a role in mission just sitting in a room in Gloucester, far too early on a Tuesday morning." (former student, now working in Europe)
