Andy Doel

As Redcliffe's Bursar, Andy has the responsibility of managing the everyday 'business' aspects of the College. He is Gloucestershire raised and based and prior to joining Redcliffe had worked for over 25 years in the financial services industry, specialising in pensions and endowments, usually in Cheltenham although latterly in Birmingham.

He is married to Lynn and they have two school-aged children.  They worship together at Cambray Baptist in Cheltenham where Andy is a deacon. Andy is also on the Council of Reference for Cheltenham Youth for Christ.

His hobbies include football (playing and watching), walking, reading and watching films.  His favourite film is “The Philadelphia Story”.

As a family the Doels have visited Austria many times and enjoy the fresh air, open mountains and enormously variable weather; not to mention the chocolate and the apple strudel.
