 Strategic Leadership Fund
Each year, the Strategic Leadership Fund (SLF) provides financial support for a small number of international students studying at the college.
Our SLF students are emerging leaders from developing countries who are recommended by their church or by an international mission agency. There is strategic value in SLF students receiving cross-cultural training in the UK given their envisaged national and international leadership in their country of origin.
All SLF students are committed to returning to work in their own country or in another cross-cultural context. Funding typically covers 40-60% of costs, with the remaining balance coming from the sending church and other friends and supporting groups.
To be considered for this support, you must fulfil the following criteria:
- Have the equivalent of 2 Advanced Level GCSE's, English Language (IELTS 6.0; 7.0 for the MA) and preferably previous theological study.
- Already be involved in Christian ministry, preferably with a cross-cultural emphasis.
- Be linked with a Christian denomination or organisation.
Due to limited funds places are not guaranteed, even if the above criteria is fulfilled.
