Historically Europe has been viewed as a sending base, but now it is recognised as an important mission field in its own right. At Redcliffe you will study alongside Europeans and others from around the world who are called to work in this continent.
Nova Research Centre is based at Redcliffe. Nova's extensive mission archives and research material is available to students. Nova's quarterly research publication, Vista is availalable for download from its blog Europeanmission.
An increasing number of Redcliffe students are preparing for mission in Europe, through our short courses and undergraudate programmes. Our
Postgraduate MA in European Mission and Intercultural Christianity provides in-depth study on issues affecting the practice of mission in Europe today, as well as the opportunity to research a particular area of interest.
One of our strategic partnerships is with the Back to Europe project; a network set up to encourage non-Europeans into Europe. We also have strong links with European mission agencies such as European Christian Mission and Greater European Mission as well as other agencies working in the area, such as Operation Mobilisation and IFES.
Redcliffe is linked with other evangelical theological colleges in Europe through the European Evangelical Accrediting Association (EEAA), and as part of our commitment to resourcing other colleges, faculty members have spent time lecturing in Christian colleges in Serbia, Moldova, Romania and the Ceczh Republic.
Redcliffe College and Nova Research Centre hosts the European Consultation in partnership with Global Connections and several mission agencies. Papers from these consultations are published in our
Encounters Mission Journal.
My time at Redcliffe not only gave me the space to go deeper into God's
word, but also to see how God's word could change my life, the lives of
others around me, and, the lives of the Europeans I would be working
amongst. It's just amazing what God will do when we surrender our time
and lives for his service and the gospel; for me Redcliffe was the ideal
place to see God do all these things
