If you have a passion to work in Latin America, Redcliffe can provide the first step, through course modules such as Just Issues, Everbody to everywhere: historical and contemporary mission movements, and Between the global and the local: missional theologies in their context.
While several former students are doing significant work in Latin America, we also prepare people from Latin America for mission in their own countries and around the world.
Our global vision includes partnering with mission organisations working in specific regions. Through our links with The Peace and Hope Trust, Nicaraguan students are enabled to study at Redcliffe before returning to be part of significant projects in their own country.
Redcliffe lecturers Andy and Carol Kingston-Smith both grew up in Latin America and worked with street children in Bolivia. Andy is part of the steeing committee of Back to Europe, a network focusing on the training needs of missionaries from Latin America and elsewhere who are working in Europe. He and his wife Carol also work with Latin Link and in particular with Latin American missionaries coming to Britain.
