Carol teaches part-time. She spent her early years with her missionary family living with a semi-nomadic tribe in Brazil. During her later education in the UK, she took part in several short-term mission trips to Europe and Kenya.
After completing a nursing degree at Manchester, Carol worked as a Health Visitor with travelling communities for several years before working in Bolivia with Latin Link developing a discipleship program in a street children's project with her husband Andy. In the church context, Carol has served in children’s ministries and in a variety of pastoral, teaching and leadership roles.
Having completed her MA at Redcliffe in 2008, Carol's special interest area is in promoting critical engagement with justice-related issues in the curriculum and she is currently developing a justice-based initiative at the College with Andy.
She has 4 children between 9 and 15 and loves walking and being in the Great Outdoors
