
All applicants should be...
- Christians through faith-commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord, and who can agree with the college's basis of faith.
- Prepared to learn flexibility and discipline under the Lordship of Christ.
- Involved in a church fellowship and be recommended for training by its leadership.
- Interested in spreading the gospel worldwide and willing to go on to serve God wherever he leads.
- A minimum of 18 years of age.
Qualifications
To begin a validated
undergraduate course you must have a minimum of 2 'A' level passes (or equivalent formal qualifications). Alternatively, if you are a mature student, you can complete a portfolio demonstrating skills and experience that are transferable to academic study, and take a short entry test on the day of your interview.
International Students
If English is not your first language you are required to have English to a minimum of IELTS* Grade 6.0 (with 5.0 for the writing category) or its equivalent. For the MA, IELTS Grade 7.0 or equivalent is required. For non-validated courses, the requirement is Grade 5.5. This is to ensure you can benefit sufficiently from the courses and community life at Redcliffe. (*British Council International English Language Testing System)
Level 5 and 6 Entry (second and third year undergraduate)
If you have already completed theological studies at Certificate of Higher Education level or equivalent at a recognised college or university you may be admitted to Level 5 or 6 via Accredited Prior Learning and so attain the Redcliffe BA degree in one or two years.
Postgraduate study
For the
MA progammes, a 2:1 or First Class Honours degree is required and acceptance on the course subject to interview. Students with a good 2:2 degree may register for the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), and re-register for the MA if successful in class-work.
If you do not have a undergraduate degree but have a number of years of missionary experience and theological thinking, you may be invited to submit a portfolio to show you can copy with the standard of MA study. If approved, you may may register for the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), and re-register for the MA if successful in class-work.
