Biblefresh mornings
Saturday 5 March and Saturday 2 April 2011
9.30am - 12.30pm2011 is the 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James translation of the Bible. The Biblefresh movement of churches, agencies, colleges and festivals is seeking to encourage and inspire churches across the UK to a greater confidence and appetite for the Word of God.
Biblefresh’s vision is to make 2011 a year of the Bible to help individuals and the whole church gain greater skill in handling the scriptures and a greater passion for hearing and obeying the Bible.
Redcliffe College is holding two Biblefresh mornings, one about the big story of the Bible, and the second focusing on how we can read and apply the Bible for ourselves.

Grasping the big picture - a journey from Genesis to Revelation
Just as the picture on the box helps us to see how a jigsaw puzzle fits together, knowing the big story of the Bible can transform our reading of God's word. Join us for a fun, interactive guided tour as we weave our way through God's amazing story from Genesis to Revelation.
Saturday 2 April 2011
Reading and applying the Bible – some tools for the task
The Bible is a book for today. But how do we move from this ancient writing to contemporary life? How can we make sense of the variety within the Bible with it's history, laws, poetry, letters and so on? This morning will help you to interpret and apply God's word in the midst of your situation and community.
