in Applied Theology

The Diploma in Applied Theology provides students with in-depth training in biblical, theological, cross-cultural and mission studies. In the second year of this validated course, students research subjects in more depth and have the opportunity to critique different viewpoints as part of their studies.

Who is the course for?

Are you looking for cross-cultural training that:

allows you to explore and develop God's calling on your life?

Our Diploma students bring with them a diversity of life experience and are usually looking to study in more depth than at Certificate level. A number of Diploma students come with families and make use of our well-equipped crèche facilities and family friendly accommodation.

Course structure…

As a Diploma student you will have the opportunity to study a diverse range of subjects and the course is designed to be flexible to your training needs. Subject areas include the Bible, theology and mission as well as practical and language skills.

Practical Mission Placements…

Practical placements provide an ideal opportunity to turn theory into practice and form an important part of the Redcliffe experience.

Diploma students benefit from two annual placements, both lasting around six weeks, and can be located in either the UK or abroad. Our Director of Placements can offer you help and guidance in choosing the right placement.
