 Dave Fisher Maintenance Manager
Dave joined the Redcliffe team in the summer of 2001 following 7 years spent in Tanzania with Crosslinks as a mechanic. He worked closely with the Diocese of Mount Kilimanjaro to establish a vehicle workshop.
Dave spends most of his time at Redcliffe repairing and maintaining anything that needs attention. Some parts of Redcliffe’s buildings are 300 years old; however, it has to be said that many of Dave's jobs revolve around items not nearly so old!
Dave is married to Tracey and they have two school-aged boys. The family worships together at their local Anglican church. Dave is also a member of Gloucester's Prison Fellowship team who pray for and work alongside the prison chaplaincy here in Gloucester.
His Favourite film is ‘The Gods Must Be Crazy’, a hilarious story set in Southern Africa revolving around a Coke bottle and an old Land Rover (and a few actors!). This film is an excellent introduction to cross cultural living and Dave shows it to as many students as possible.
